Vintage Truck

The Town Clerk’s office is located in the south end of the town hall and it is where you can renew your vehicle registrations, register vehicles that are new to you, and pay the town portion for vehicles that are extra-large and require you to visit a state office. ‘Vehicles’ include all cars, trailers, campers, motorcycles, mopeds and trucks.

For vehicles with 3 axels that weigh more than 50,000 pounds or have apportioned plates you will need to go to the Keene substation, but owners must pay their town fees at the Town Clerk’s office First.

We can do a boat registration for any boat using NH waters. Boat registrations are good for the calendar year. Once you have registered a boat, you will receive renewal documents every January.

We do not have anything to do with Driver’s Licenses. Any change or up-date to your license must be done at the Keene Sub-station. Make an appointment in Keene.

All motor vehicle work requires you to present a government issued photo ID.

Vanity or personalized plates are an option for any New Hampshire car owner. Check the availability of a vanity plate.
