Services & Responsibilities:
- Maintain and operate water system including monitoring of wells
- Maintain and operate sewer pump stations
- Implement and maintain Water and Sewer ordinances
- Invoicing for Walpole water and sewer usage
- Invoicing for North Walpole sewer only usage
- Final water and/or sewer meter read for law offices and closing companies
- Process applications for new water and/or sewer connections
Billing:
The Town of Walpole Water & Sewer Department sends out water and/or sewer bills quarterly: late January, late April, late July & late October.
The North Walpole Village District sends their water bills out twice a year in June & December.
How is Usage Measured?
We measure your water usage in Cubic Feet. 100 cubic feet is approximately 748 gallons of water.
Sewer usage and the Sewer Bond are based on your water usage since it is likely the water used entered the sewer system.
