Overview
The Walpole Zoning Board of Adjustment consists of five full members who are elected at town meeting for three-year terms and up to five alternate members who are each appointed for a three-year term by the Zoning Board of Adjustment.
The responsibilities of the Board include:
• To hear and act on requests for Special Exceptions as provided in the Zoning Ordinance (PDF)
• To hear and act on requests for Equitable Waivers as allowed in state statute (RSA 674:33-a)
• To hear and act on Appeals from Administrative Decisions
• To hear and act on Appeals for Variances from the strict application of the terms of the Zoning Ordinance (PDF)
• To review parking for properties with a DADU (Article IV.O.5.)
The Zoning Board of Adjustment meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Walpole Town Hall. Applications should be delivered to the Board at a regular meeting.
