Candidates should have excellent customer service skills, proficient personal computer skills including experience using MSOffice, e-file management, and be able to create and respond to e-mail communications; knowledge and use of business telephone etiquette; general office procedures; be organized and complete tasks in a timely manner; ability to be courteous with the public and be a good listener. A High School diploma or GED required.
The Town of Walpole is accepting applications for a part-time, temporary Tax Collector. Candidates should have proficient computer skills, be able to process transactions efficiently and accurately, communicate effectively with the public, work independently, the ability to apply mathematics to specific tax computation problems, be organized and detailed orientated. Applicants should have 3 years or more of office experience with progressively increased responsibility in a business setting and advance business coursework in business, bookkeeping, accounting, or finance. Associates degree preferred but not required.
