Laborer/Truck Driver

The Town of Walpole is accepting applications for a Laborer/Truck Driver within the Highway Department. Candidates must possess a HS Diploma or GED and a valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).

This is a year-round, full-time hourly position. Candidates must be available on an on-call basis to work evenings and weekends during the winter months and Town emergencies for road plowing and the operation of trucking equipment. The possession of a mechanical aptitude for equipment maintenance and repair would be beneficial to the position.

The meeting start time remains unchanged with a 6:30 PM opening of the meeting.
The reason for the change is a scheduling conflict.

General & Data Verification Assessing Services - RFP

The Town of Walpole is seeking proposals from certified NH assessing companies for General  and Data Verification Services.  The term of the contract  is from 2024 through 2027 (four years) with the final year to include data verification as part of the revaluation of the Town's property values.  Proposals can include cyclical and/or full revaluation (completed in one year) costs.
Proposals will be accepted until 4 PM on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at the Walpole Selectboard Office,  Attn: Sarah Downing, 34 Elm Street, PO Box 729, Walpole NH 03608.
