RECORDING SECRETARY VACANCY
The Conservation Commission of the Town of Walpole is seeking a Recording Secretary. This position has a variety of duties, including but not limited to:
• Attending all Conservation Commission meetings held at the Town Hall on the first Monday of each month at 7:00 pm
• Taking minutes at all scheduled meetings
• Typing and distribution of all minutes
• Sending public hearing notices as needed

Pursuant to RSA 31:95-b the Selectboard will hold a public meeting to receive public comment concerning the acceptance of unanticipated revenues from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) reimbursements for damage incurred during the July 29-30, 2021 flooding event.
Additionally, the Selectboard will hold a public meeting to receive public comment concerning the acceptance of unanticipated revenues from the Special One Time Highway Payment from the State of New Hampshire.
You are hereby notified that the Walpole Selectboard will host a public meeting on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at 6:00 PM in the Walpole Town Hall to discussing accepting funds received from the State of New Hampshire under FEMA and the Department of Transportation (DOT).
The Selectboard Meeting will follow the public hearing.

Change Due to Scheduling Conflict
The Town of Walpole is accepting applications for a Laborer/Truck Driver within the Highway Department. Candidates must possess a HS Diploma or GED and a valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
This is a year-round, full-time hourly position. Candidates must be available on an on-call basis to work evenings and weekends during the winter months and Town emergencies for road plowing and the operation of trucking equipment. The possession of a mechanical aptitude for equipment maintenance and repair would be beneficial to the position.
