Property Taxes

NH Property Taxes are billed twice a year.  The first bill is Due July 1st or the first regular business day after July 1st. The first bill is an estimate that = ½ of the previous year's taxes. Calculation: Assessed value/1000 x The Tax Rate = Annual Taxes/2 = first Bill.

The Second Bill ideally comes out in November, but is dependent on the DRA setting our local tax rates. Our tax rate cannot be set until the municipal, school and county budgets have all been submitted to the DRA and approved.

You can review your tax payment history and current Bill at the NH Tax Kiosk: website.
